The images by Mitchell L. Ehrlich in this on-line portfolio were made over the course of several years and show a progression of changes in styles and techniques. Some of the older images were made with film and later scanned into the computer and newer images are digital captures.
What has not changed is the artist's search for the natural beauty that is all around us. Whether it's the sweep and power of a big coastal landscape, or the more personal view of an intimate landscape of a small creek; getting up close and personal with a tiny cactus flower or watching the muscular flow and movement of a horse running freely across a field or the strength and experience that are visible in the hands of a master musician; all of these show the incredible extent and dimensions of that natural beauty. The photographs in this collection were made to try and capture the emotions of seeing, and experiencing that natural beauty and attempting to communicate the emotions from that experience to others.
Mitch Ehrlich is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association, the Carolinas Nature Photographers Association and The Sierra Club. All three of these organizations promote the conservation and protection of the beauty of our natural resources and our environment.
All of the images that you see on this website are available for purchase as prints or other merchandise. If you have a special order or request, you can contact the artist directly using the Contact page. I hope that you enjoy viewing the photographs as much as I enjoyed creating them.
